CAREER INTERESTS

I aspire to be a pediatrician. In order to achieve this career goal, I need to finish all pre-requisite classes for medical school, complete clinical/shadowing hours at a hospital, and prepare for the MCAT.

For the year 2021, I plan to either research or shadow with a pediatrician and get some clinical hours. Over the next 3-5 years, I will be working towards getting into medical school by doing everything I listed above.

I would not have imagined doing any of this without LTPF. THis professional development program gave me all of the guidance and direction that I needed to take my future seriously and look for open opportunities. My cohort leader, Devon Tucker, taught me so much about entrepreneurship and how to take advantage of my resources in business. He introduced me to the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" and gave me so much advice. On the other hand, Nehemiah also coached us through the entire process and connected me with several individuals that were super helpful in finding internships, making connections, and becoming more competitive in the job field.
